What chopper is that? Is it a Eurocopter AS350? If so since when have the FC been operating the Eurocopter AS350?

FC had one for a few years now for use by IGFC, it replaced the old Jet Ranger they were flying previously

Assalam O Alaikum

This refers to Mr. usayd post regarding two pics showing PA generals with Apache.

The first pic shows Gen Shamim Alam (Then Lt.Gen & CGS) during his USA visit for FMS. He alongwith a Brig from PA army avn were displayed Apache in detail but not flown. PA wanted to buy six of these birds at that time. However the deal did not materialize.

The second pic shows Gen AW Kakar (then COAS) at Fort Hood during his first visit to USA. was flown as goodwill but no inclination was shown in buying the heli.

was there a tent pegging competition? I found a picture of the Indians. They use swords, while we use lance. First time I have seen anyone using swords for tenting pegging. Even in India the tradition is to use lance. I think Indians just came up with this just for the Jubilee show, maybe trying to one-up the Pakistanis.
