My condolences to the family. He was a nice guy. He just loved the JF-17. He was passionate about Pakistan even though he appeared to have been brought up or living in the Netherlands for a long time. May Allah forgive him for his mistakes. RIP, Munir.
My father was an engineer and served at Shara-e-Faisal (Drigh Road in those days, 102 MU) and Korangi Creek as base commander. He retired in 1974 and joined the Pak industry in automobile and steel sectors. I have studied in a few PAF Model Schools and have lived in Karachi, Pindi, and Peshawar.
I have been reading this forum for some time and find it much more useful than the other one.
I am a Pakistani, living in the US. I have an enduring interest in the Pak military, esp., in the Air Force. My father served in the Air Force and I grew up on many an air force base. I have an engineer's training and hope to learn from the esteemed members of this group. Perhaps I can occasionally contribute to the discussion. Thank you.
